Terms of service
About these terms
These terms cover your use of lfrecording.click and the general basis on which LF RECORDING LTD (“LF Recording”, “we”, “us”) provides studio services: instrumental and vocal recording, voice-over sessions, mixing, mastering, sound design and podcast production. The written quote or booking confirmation for your project sets out its specific scope, fees and schedule, and takes priority over these terms where the two differ.

Using this website
The information on this site describes our services in general terms and is not an offer. We try to keep it accurate but may change it at any time. The contact form is a demonstration and does not send messages; please email us to make an enquiry.
Quotes and bookings
A session or project is booked only once we have confirmed it to you in writing by email. The confirmation will state what is included, the date or schedule, the deliverables and the fees and payment terms that apply.
Changes, cancellations and rescheduling
If you need to move or cancel a session, tell us as early as possible. Any charges for late cancellation or rescheduling will be those stated in your quote or booking confirmation. If we have to move a session for reasons on our side, we will offer another date or refund any amount you have paid for that session.
Your material
By sending us or performing material, including songs, scripts, samples, stems, references and artwork, you confirm that you own it or have permission to use it for the work you have booked. You are responsible for clearing samples, third-party music and any rights your own client requires.
Ownership of the finished work
Unless your quote says otherwise, once you have paid in full you own the recordings, mixes, masters, voice takes, sound design and episodes we produce for you, and you may use them as you wish. We do not claim any share of your royalties. We will not use your work in our own promotion without your written permission.
Revisions and delivery
We will make changes in line with the notes you send and the scope agreed in your quote. Work outside that scope can be quoted separately. Files are delivered in the formats set out in your booking. Please check deliveries promptly and tell us about any problem so we can fix it.
In the studio
Please treat the room and equipment with care and follow reasonable instructions from the engineer on the day. You are responsible for any damage caused deliberately or through carelessness by you or your guests, and for your own instruments and belongings.
Liability
We provide our services with reasonable care and skill. We are not liable for losses that were not foreseeable when the booking was made, or for business losses such as lost profits or opportunities. Our total liability for a project is limited to the fees paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited under the law of England and Wales, and nothing affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over any dispute. If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the United Kingdom, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version that applies to your project is the one in force on the date your booking was confirmed.
