Who we are

This policy explains how LF RECORDING LTD (“LF Recording”, “we”, “us”) handles personal data when you visit lfrecording.click, send us an enquiry or work with us on a recording, mixing, mastering, sound design, voice-over or podcast project. We are the controller of that data under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

LF RECORDING LTD, Studio 214 Netil House 1 Westgate Street LONDON, England, E8 3RL United Kingdom. Email: urmascardpowerss@gmail.com.

What we collect

  • Enquiry details: your name, email address, the service you are interested in and anything you write about your project.
  • Project information: briefs, scripts, references, schedules, delivery specifications and notes exchanged while we work together.
  • Audio and session material: recordings, stems, sessions and voice takes you send us or that we record for you. Voice recordings can identify a person, so we treat them as personal data.
  • Booking and billing details: contact and invoicing information needed to confirm sessions and take payment.

How and why we use it

  • To reply to your enquiry and prepare a quote. Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract.
  • To book sessions, carry out the work and deliver files. Legal basis: performance of a contract.
  • To keep invoicing and accounting records. Legal basis: legal obligation.
  • To keep project files for a reasonable period in case you need revisions or replacement copies. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in providing a reliable service.

We do not use your data for automated decision-making, and we do not sell it.

Your recordings

Audio you send us or that we record for you is used only to deliver the work you booked. We do not publish, share or reuse your recordings, voice or performances for any other purpose without your written permission.

Who we share it with

We share personal data only where needed to run the business, for example with providers of email, file transfer, cloud storage and accounting services, and with professional advisers or authorities where the law requires it. Some of these providers may process data outside the United Kingdom. Where they do, we rely on the safeguards recognised under UK data protection law.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to a booking are deleted once the conversation has clearly ended. Project material is kept for as long as is reasonable to support revisions and replacement deliveries, unless you ask us to delete it sooner. Billing records are kept for as long as UK tax and company law requires.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to how we use it, or to receive a copy in a portable format. Where we rely on your consent you can withdraw it at any time. To make a request, email urmascardpowerss@gmail.com.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk. We would appreciate the chance to put things right first.
